Kerry Juhr had the great privilege of growing in the Pacific Northwest on the outskirts of Portland Oregon. His summers where spent on the Columbia River water skiing and wakeboarding. His winters were spent on Mt Hood snow skiing and snowboarding. Before moving to Hawaii to work on dive boat in 2002 he was a small yacht broker in Oregon. Kerry has a big passion for traveling and has visited many countries including: Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Morrocco, Germany, and Bahamas. Travel has always been very rewarding to Kerry. In 2007 Kerry decided with a friend that it was high time to learn to sail, so they put their resources together and bought a 27- foot sailboat. In 2009 Kerry was introduced to yachting and the proverbial light bulb went on! This is when connection between career and passion started. Kerry has worked on vessels ranging from 70-250ft. He has cruised the waters of the Bahamas, Florida, Hawaii, Caribbean, Tunisia, Mediterranean, New England, California, Oregon, and Washington. As Captain on M/Y JUS CHILL’N he is excited to show you an amazing time with safety, knowledge, and fun!!! He loves to teach people how to do anything in and on the water and answer all the guests’ questions about ports they have never travel to. He looks forward to welcoming you aboard and turning your vacation into a time you will never forget!
Chef/Stewardess: Denise Dobbs
Denise Dobbs is a Florida native and had the pleasure of growing up on the ocean. Her father is an avid scuba diver so she started snorkeling when she was four years old and caught her first lobster when she was 12. Denise grew up in the restaurant and hospitality arena and loves to show her guest a great time with quality service. She began her yachting career after finishing college with her Commercial Photography Degree as a “summer job”, which has now turned into the endless summer. Over 18 plus year in yachting has given her many experiences she loves to share with the guests. Denise began her career as a deck hand on a 125ft Sailing Yacht and quickly moved into Chief Stewardess. For 12 years Denise was a Chief Stewardess on vessels ranging from 90ft-180ft. Denise began to explore cooking on yachts and has been a Freelance Chef for the last 7 years. Her foods focus on healthy & fresh but she loves cooking Italian, Asian, seafood, and grilled meats! She is also a certified Raw-Vegan Chef specializing on Gluten-Free food and desserts. In addition to those skills she is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Breathwork Coach, and yoga instructor. Denise loves to make sure her guests are happy, relaxed, and smiling during their time aboard M/Y JUS CHILL’N.
