Captain: Mark Sperber
Captain Mark Sperber
Mark was raised in St. Croix, where his journey in the marine industry began. He spent his childhood racing both mono and multihull vessels, and his passion for navigating Carribbean waters only grew. As a young adult, Captain Mark built a watersports company which remains successful on the island today. Next, he captained a private yacht in the Bahamas for three years before moving on to work for the largest subcontractor for oil spill cleanups in the Gulf during the Deep Water Horizon recovery efforts. Captain Mark owned and operated the renowned sixty-three foot Peter Sprunk racing catamaran Jolly Mon, which offered day charters around the British and U.S. Virgin Islands. Following Hurricane Maria, Captain Mark returned to St. Croix and is happy to be home, doing what he does best.
Mate Leeya Tudek
Leeya grew up on a small farm in the green mountains of Vermont. Raised by biologists and without technology, she spent her childhood reading and playing outdoors with any creature she could catch. Leeya traveled extensively during her early education, and when the pandemic interrupted her studies at UC Santa Cruz, she moved happily to the Caribbean in search of a more hands-on lifestyle. At age nineteen she began crewing boats, and realized life at sea was exactly what she had been looking for. Leeya enjoys writing, surfing, watercolor painting, and any and all wildlife encounters. Her passions for meeting new people, exploring and sharing her love for the natural world have led her to yachting, where she feels every day can be an adventure and every trip can be a story worth telling.
Stewardess Morgan Donovan
Morgan was born in Connecticut and her fondest childhood memories are of the summers spent by the sea on the Cape. She spent her early adult years studying and working in the hospitality industry in Brooklyn, New York managing a Michelin Star fine dining restaurant and an upscale food hall donning 21 of New York's best restaurants. When COVID hit, she left NYC and made her way down to the Caribbean for a “simpler” life. Morgan has found a perfect field to combine her love of the ocean, her passion for travel, and exquisite hospitality skills in the yachting industry. During her free time, she enjoys hiking and beach combing with her dog, practicing yoga and spending time with her friends and family. She is currently in school to gain her 100 ton captains license and hopes to learn how to surf this year. Morgan enjoys challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service and is devoted to making your stay onboard an exclusive and unforgettable one. Here’s to living the dream and making your dreams come true!
