Hi, this article about the best catamarans in the British Virgin Island is still quite popular. If you’re looking for an up to date version, please check the new article.
You’ll notice that the order of the crewed BVI catamaran charters correlates with the price. We’ve selected 10 BVI catamarans across all price ranges and ordered them by their respective cost. That way, you can get a better feel of the individual catamaran price ranges. Let us know what you think!
Let’s start with number 10, Island Hoppin. 4 queen cabins, one of the cabins can be made into twin beds. A Lagoon 52, takes 8 guests. The base is actually in Red Hook, which can be an advantage when moving in/from the charter. Scuba gear available. Great for watersports and fishing, there is a drone on-board.
A 9 guests crewed BVI catamaran, known especially for it’s diving. This 58ft performance catamaran has great sailing qualities (even has a spinnaker) and a very decent collection of water toys (including fishing gear and water skis). Also a USVI boat, most often seen around Jost Van Dyke’s White Bay.
Megan is a very talented chef and her culinary art does not stay in the galley. Her recipes, such as “Crab Cakes with Habañero Remoulade Sauce,” or Tuna Avocado Tartare ‘To Go’ actually made it into magazines! As for the yacht itself, the high end 65ft Jeantot Privilege catamaran… Nope, back to the experience, which can be most characterised by “fun.” The motto is:”Fun, great food and memories that will last a lifetime.” And don’t overdo it with 1-2-3-4 Lola Limón Pum Runch!
A 2010 62ft Privilege catamaran in awesome condition. 5 star service, luxury, ideal if you’re looking to be pampered. Even the dinghy is “deluxe.” Awesome stereo and water sports. A boutique hotel on water.
Luxury on Water. Takes 6 guests in 3 en-suite cabins. The master cabin is pretty massive, with a walkaround bed and seating area. A Lagoon 62 with a crew of 3, interiorly designed by Nauta Design, a professional chef with 15-years’ experience—who has cooked for the tastes of Elton John and the Queen of England. The important: bread-maker for chef’s daily fresh breads, ice cream maker for the chef’s sorbets and ice creams, a Sous-Vide machine for slow-cooked marinated meats, and a professional fresh-ground espresso coffee maker.
62′ Lagoon- the newest and longest of the Lagoon fleet. In terms of space, it’s being compared to a 100ft super yacht. The specialties include Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon or Tuna tartar with avocado and diced green mango. Equipped with the most recent water toys and generous with room, Tiger Lilly is definitely a top pick in mid-range catamarans in the BVI.
Jaco & Jenny (crew) take good care of their Lagoon 56 cat. The layout is 1 master, 2 queen and 1 twin cabin. A3 is short for Adeia 3, which means “freedom from fear” in Greek (Adeia). Full bimini, flybridge with teak decking, but especially a crew that knows the area well make A3 a great choice for your BVI yacht charter.
It’s getting serious now, Xenia 74 is a massive catamaran. Takes 8 guests in 1 master and 3 queen, had a major refit in 2015. Guests compliment the food and the relaxing way charters are done. Since multiple clients have had different experience, we must conclude that the crew is actually very impressive in tuning the charter to client’s wants. The crew figures it out very quickly, impressive!
Quite an interesting BVI crewed catamaran. Starting with the story of Contessa Zingara, who transformed from a gypsy maid being a cook to the Countess of Parma, to the crew: “Calm Camille,” “All Action Andres,” and “Tyler with a Twist.” To the boat itself. A unique design by Matrix yachts, 76! feet of comfort. Zingara.
Nenne is simply the perfect crewed catamaran. Meticulously maintained, loved by owner with no expense spared. The award-winning crew is envied by other yachts, just have a look at the video – Donald is simply the best. Predicting the client’s needs, having exactly what you need onboard, etc.
Nenne has 5 cabins just like Zingara, but this video of Nenne has become an industry ideal- crews and owners reach it to showcase what a top-level catamaran charter should be about.
