ALEX FREW | CAPTAIN |
Captain Alex has been on boats his whole life, growing up on the islands of Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Australia. Prior to yachting, Alex spent 12 years working in the international financial markets. As a distraction from this fast-paced life, he began professional yacht racing, which led him to a career in yachting. With over 20 years of experience as a Captain, Alex has held command of various yachts crossing many oceans and completing ten transatlantic crossings. He is truly an experienced mariner always putting the safety and comfort of his guests first. For fun Alex enjoys Rugby, snowboarding, surfing, and restoring classic muscle cars.

ENRIQUE SANTIAGO SOTO | CHIEF ENGINEER | MEXICAN
Enrique has been working for over 7 years on commercial vessels and yachts, he has a background of working for larger vessels such as 850 ft crane-ships and supertankers. Originally from the north of Mexico, he enjoys traveling and sea life. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, movies, and having quality time with family and friends. He also loves traveling and great landscapes.

ANNIE | CHIEF STEW | MEXICAN
Annie grew up in Mexico City and studied tourism & design at university which led her into working for hotels in Cabo San Lucas. Yachting has given her the opportunity to use her hospitality skills so guests onboard have amazing experiences on the ocean. She enjoys yoga and traveling to faraway places.


MARY PASTRANA | DECK STEW | MEXICAN
Mary grew up near the sea in Mexico. She is passionate about traveling, living by the sea, exploring new places, and is a huge dog lover. In her free time, she spends quality time with friends and family and visits, supports, and participates in campaigns to benefit animal shelters and people in need.


ASHTON GRAY | MATE | BAHAMIAN
Ashton is 27 years old and spent his childhood in the Bahamas. In his earlier years, he grew up playing sports such as baseball and basketball. Once off the field, he spent the rest of his days on the islands of the Exumas fishing and sailing. He is currently into his sixth year of yachting as he loves traveling and experiencing different places throughout the world. His normal hobbies are free diving, watching sports, movies, and spending time with family. Learning the trade from his dad as he is an entrepreneur and sailing captain for over 20 years, it is safe to say boating runs in his family.

DIDI BALABAN | CHEF | TURKISH
After being a land-based chef for many years, Didi gravitated towards the yachting industry for the ability to travel the world and experience different cultures and cuisines. She has now appeased the palates of many charter guests on a variety of vessels and is excited to continue her journey on M/Y PURSUIT. Didi specializes in Mediterranean, French, Greek, Turkish, Thai, and Chinese cuisine but is willing and able to cater to any guest request. Providing outstanding service is Didi’s number one goal, and she can’t wait to welcome guests aboard her table. When Didi is not busy cooking, she enjoys reading, hiking, exercising, watching movies, and listening to music.
