All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like LISA OF THE SEAS, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price ($10,400 - $18,200), making the charter cost $62,400 to $70,200. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Daniele Barolo
Captain Daniele is a sailing lover. He has sailed in the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean, San Blas Panama and Colombia, South America and southern Patagonia, from the Canary Islands to the Arctic Circle, he knows the whole Mediterranean, for more than 10 years he has decided to transform his passion into his work, together with his partner Chiara delight customers from all over the world for their holidays on sailboats and catamarans. Fully qualified, as a Captain (holds an offshore Rya yachtmaster) Daniele masters all aspects of the world of sailing. Professional Captain possesses the necessary skills to ensure the safety of his passengers and crew in all weather and sea conditions. As any Captain should be, Daniele is patient and serene as well as outgoing. His care for people makes him by far the funniest and most confident Captain you can think of. The Italian way of life, the integrity of the British nautical training, the vast nautical knowledge make Daniele an extraordinary Captain. Sailing with him on Lisa is much more than an experience - it's an unforgettable pleasure.
Our chef Chiara was born and grow up in southern Italy in a small town near the sea. She started cooking from an early age with her grandmother who passed on her love for Italian food and cuisine. She attended the hotel management school and then worked in restaurants in Rome, Milan and Barcelona but the call of the sea was too strong, so now for more than ten years she has been working on board of sailboats and catamarans together with her partner Captain Daniel. She delights her guests with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine and sometimes even fusion cuisine. She is outgoing, happy, fun, and eager to help make your trip one of the best of your life!

I can't begin to tell you how much we all appreciate your efforts for our charter we finished a few weeks ago on Lisa of the Seas. With a group of 25 including 3 catamarans and 11 kids, there are a lot of moving parts but you all handled it with grace, good humor and great service. Yes, a large part of a charter is where you are sailing but in reality it is the crew that can make or break an experience. In all phases, you nailed it! Captain Adam, you are not only an exceptional Captain but an excellent host. The kids will never forget you driving up on the tender in your pirate garb to announce their pirate party that night. That was above and beyond! To chef Rachael, bravo! Your food was exceptional and your way of adapting and being gracious with all the complexities of a large group was impressive and we are grateful. And Hanna, there is no doubt that a great Captain and Chef are integral parts of a charter, but the Stew is often the glue to make sure guests have smiles on their faces with drinks in hand, cold towels after a long day or dealing with the different needs of multiple families. The fact that you dealt with our two theme nights and all the decorations etc. that I sent is a testament to your graciousness! All 3 of you should be proud of the experience you provided our group, a truly once in a lifetime experience for many. A sincere thank you for a job well done!
