Under the lee of Mountain Point, anchorage here is quite guarded. If there’s a North swell it’ll make it either uncomfortable or inaccessible. Navigate as far in as you can to the Northeast of the anchorage where the coast steep-to. Leaving South of you should be a remote house on a nearly deserted beach.
General and Useful Information
A covert beach where the shore is fringed with coral ideal for snorkeling. Best place to snorkel would be at the edge of the reef, avoid the center as the rocks there are sharp and covered with urchins. For experienced divers a great place to explore would be off Mountain Point.
To reach Long Bay by car you’ll have to drive on an unpaved and rocky road, there’s a few parking spaces and just steps away from the beach.
Restaurants and Amenities
There are no restaurants, shops or bathrooms available on this beach. The nearest restaurant by boat would be at Leverick Bay. Sugar Cane Restaurant and Hog Heaven is just up the road by car.
